Airline error drops fliers on wrong continent, 7,000 miles off course
Talk about a computer error: One couple intending to fly from Los Angeles to Dakar, Senegal, was mistakenly taken to Dhaka, the Bangladesh capital, which is 7,000 miles from their planned destination , and on a different continent. The airline, Turkish Airlines, entered the wrong airport code, substituting DAC for DKR, the Los Angeles Times reported.

Iran claims execution of spies for U.S., Israel
State-run radio in Iran is reporting the nation has executed two men convicted of spying for the United States and for Israel. Mohammad Heidari, accused of spying for Israeli's Mossad, and Kourosh Ahmadi, accused of providing the Central Intelligence Agency with information, have been hanged, the media reported, CBS said.

Powerful earthquake hits Chile's coast
A powerful earthquake with a magnitude of 6.8 rocked off the coast of Chile on Monday. The U.S. Geological Survey said the quake struck off the southern region. No injuries or damages were yet reported, and experts aren't issuing a warning of a tsunami to residents, CNN reported. The quake hit an estimated 388 miles west of Puerto Aisen. Earthquakes are common in the nation.
