American Electric is not your average power play

While utilities have been lifted by the market's recent rally, American Electric Power has lagged its peers, and despite a good dividend and a reasonable outlook, Chuck Jaffe believes average investors would be better off avoiding the company with the nation's largest coal-burning fleet for utilities that don't have AEP's problems.
